Círculo de Bellas Artes
The building has been an artistic monument since 1981, and is close to other architect's works, such as the Instituto Cervantes headquarters, which can be seen from the rooftop. This roof is divided into two levels, the upper one that has views over Alcalá Street, and the lower one that overlooks the back streets of the Palace. In the superior one they are the Tower of the Studies and the sculpture of Minerva, Roman goddess of the arts.

The aforementioned Minerva is the work of Juan Luis Vassallo, who won a competition called in the 60s. To install the sculpture, weighing several tons, the structure of the building had to be reinforced.
